About Zinetober
Zinetober is an informal challenge that I personally do without the influence of any prompts, just good old-fashioned zinemaking for every day of October! This calendar is all of my zines from Zinetober 2024. Click the cover of a zine on the calendar to read the full zine. Feel free to download and print out your own copies of any zine for personal use.
Zine Descriptions
Day 01 - "Sick" is a vent-y minizine about my current bout of illness which came with a fevered desire to do nothing but refine my web development skillsDay 02 - "My Lesbian Gender" is a vulnerable explanation/discussion minizine of my experience with gender as a lesbian
Day 03 - "I Suck at Web Design" is a silly minizine about reasons other than my beginner status for why I suck at web design
Day 04 - "Putting in Effort" is another vent-y handwritten minizine about the struggles of putting in effort to things you used to be able to do
Day 05 - "Annual Ghost: A Halloween Sestina" is a simple minizine featuring a festive sestina I wrote about a shattered ghost and a morbid girl coming together
Day 06 - "Beastline" is a roleplaying game minizine inspired by Home Safety Hotline wherein you build up a bestiary of strange creatures/entities based on concerned callers
Day 07 - "Sane & Normal: A Pathologic Struggle Zine" is a minizine documenting my initial woes over waiting for the announcement that would eventually be Pathologic 3!
Day 08 - "Storm Anxiety" is a vent minizine about my fears regarding the incoming Hurricane Milton
Day 09 - "Lesbian: A Celebration" is a late Lesbian Day minizine about why I love being a lesbian
Day 10 - "Interest Inventory" is a list minizine of my top interests & fixations of the present moment
Day 11 - "I Don't Want To Draw" is a frankly bad minizine about not wanting to draw
Day 12 - "How & Why I'm Learning Web Development" is a minizine talking about my current journey to learn web development for fun
Day 13 - "Why You WILL Play Pathologic Classic HD" is a minizine making a case for why you, reader, absolutely will play Pathologic Classic HD
Day 14 - "Don't" is a minizine in favor of not doing things you don't want to
Day 15 - "I Hate Graphic Design" is a complaining minizine about my hatred of graphic design and giving up
